Rebecca Maddalo – Director

rebeccamaddalo

Rebecca is a Harvard filmmaking graduate and local filmmaker who likes exploring how to tell stories in as many different ways as possible. She has experience working within a range of storytelling genres, from documentary work to interview-based pieces to silent 16mm film to traditional narrative stories. She currently associate produces ASquaredFilm’s THE GUYS NEXT DOOR. Her first crowdfunded effort, BURNING, is her exploration of how time and chronology can be altered to tell a story in a nontraditional way. Using flashbacks that intercut a single evening in the main character’s life, it plays with how information is revealed and what that does to the audience’s perception of the characters.
